The delivery of health care should not just be about curative service and profiting from vulnerable sick and ill people of our society but also about promoting preventive health and helping the community to learn about how to stay healthy through free and unbias health education, going into the community to teach them and empowering them with the much needed knowledge about their health.

The Ark hospital has taken a step further by making our private health facility freely accessible to members of the communities we serve for free health counselling, free intereactive sessions on recognising early signs of potentially lethal diseases, allowing into our facility school children hoping one day in the future to become healthcare providers see what the future could be in healthcare industry and as health providers thus helping them to make informed decision about careers.

This way, we have been able to establish excellent relationship with the community. We are not seen as another private hospital "in it for what we can get" but one that truly cares, sincere and honest.

Some in the industry might want to argue that promoting preventive health will make curative health providers go out of service but we say if you get your clients to trust you by provividing them sincere and honest advice on staying healthy and not hold anything back from them, then they'll trust you and have confidence to come to you in the event that they fall sick and are in need of curative care because they know you will be honest about the care you give to them.
